After almost 25 years of involvement with the Appeal, firstly as a founding trustee and for 20 years as Chairman, Tony Hill has decided it is time to pass the baton to a new Chairman.

We are delighted to welcome Brian Milstead as a Trustee. Brian has been involved in the health service for over 30 years and is a former Chief Executive of

The Royal Cornwall Hospitals Treliske.

Tony will be a difficult act to follow but with Brian’s experience we are in good hands.

We wanted to give Tony a good send off so on a lovely Cornish evening, which means it poured with rain, a party was held in the garden of a fellow Trustee.

The rain didn’t dampen anyones enjoyment and Tony was presented with a set of hiking poles as he is about to walk the Yorkshire Wolds Way.
