On March 27th our treasurer and trustee, Colin Micklewright, will celebrate his 80th birthday.

A very keen golfer and member of Lanhydrock Golf Club he has set himself a challenge to play 80 holes of golf in one day. This is the equivalent of walking a marathon and playing golf at the same time. He already has the support of many fellow golfers and friends who have promised to keep his spirits up if the going gets tough.

Many local business have kindly sponsored a golf hole for £150 and raffle tickets are on sale. If you would like to make a donation Colin has set up a Fundraising page which can be found by following the link http://www.justgiving.com  and searching for Colin Micklewright.
